FLORECER attended the Arizona Digital Inclusion Network (ADIN) Super Meeting and participated in the Lightening Round of presentations to share the work that FLORECER is doing in the rural, southern border community of Yuma, AZ. We celebrated 3 years of ADIN leading amazing work to bridge the digital divide in Arizona.


FLORECER attended the National Digital Inclusion Alliance's (NDIA) Net Inclusion Annual Conference held at the Gila River Indian Community. Gila River Indian Community Gov. Stephen Roe Lewis gave the keynote address.









FLORECER attended the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino "Cafecito Con Jorge" event in Los Angeles, CA. for a critical conversation about building the National Museum of the American Latino.













FLORECER Yuma, AZ participated in the Small Town and Rural Students (STARS) College Network Counselor Tour of private research Institutions Vanderbilt University (Nashville, Tennessee) and Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri). This opportunity aligns with FLORECER’s mission to foster a college-going-culture and achieve equity in college access and attainment in the rural, southern border community of Yuma County, AZ.

The Small Town and Rural Students (STARS) College Network is dedicated to working with high schools and access organizations such as FLORECER to widen pathways to higher education for rural and small-town students.
